A ram finds himself trapped in a room with no memories. How will he get out?

--

This was originally a project I was doing in a group for a game jam. Sadly, my group never got around to finishing the game on time. I was in charge of art and writing, so I decided to teach myself how to use RPG Maker to the best of my ability to finish it.

I even tried to finish it within 2 days like the original jam called for.

Hope you can find some enjoyment in my first RPG!

I love this game! If I be Hippolyte and know Kagami(the name I give for reflection one) have alive I will change that mirror to pocket mirror and bring him every where.

Thank you for playing my game! That's honestly a really cute name for mirror!Hippolyte. For the longest time I've been calling him cherry Hippolyte or Chipotle as a joke;;

Took me a little longer than it probably should have(On me, not the game πŸ˜…) to get all of the game overs/endings but I had a good time with it. πŸ Are you planning to work on any other RPGMaker based projects?

Thank you for playing! I do have another RPG Maker game in progress. I'm currently working on its art before posting too much about it.

Ahh gotcha, gotcha, awesome, looking forward to checking it out down the line! πŸ‘

Honestly, I started playing the game and thought it was just filled with bad endings no matter what I tried to discover, my character was going to have a bad time. I did find the good ending and there's so many different things to experiment with in such a small game.

Really interesting idea for a game, and great work on really getting so much out of a game that only had two rooms. The fact that so many different things can be interacted with and has purpose was great.

Going to have to play through β€˜Don’t Notice Me!’ I went past the game a few times and did not realise it was a horror game till I saw the character panel animation. Looks interesting and I wish I had tried it sooner.

Thank you so much for playing Looking Glass!! I can't fully express how happy it makes me to see so many people playing it :,,^]
As for Don't Notice Me, it's currently being re-done, so I'd honestly suggest waiting until the revamp version is done. Thank you again!

You are very welcome! ^_^

Ohh that sounds great; I will definitely keep my eye out for the updated Don't Notice Me, thank you for letting me know

really had fun !

This game is awesome i never knew i liked these kind of games although i was playing for 1 hour to get and ending that does not say bad ending i still like it i don't know why i would love to see a sequel :)

A little confusing at times but I love the different things you can do in the game, really intuitive when you try to break something or stab yourself and the game lets you do it.

The art is also really cute but the floor made me dizzy for some reason.

Love the artwork and effort went into this little story here, really like the amount of interaction you can do with the environment and the endings were left to the interpretations i assume except the true ending, which is absolutely fine. Thank you for making this, hope to see more of you!

I really liked the concept of this game. It was great but I still could not figure out how to get the true/good ending. I would appreciate it if someone told me how.

you rock

Dude I just watched manly badass hero play this, and I honestly have to say I can't wait to see what else you put out. It gives me major Charon vibes. This is simply amazing.

Hi there, I am DragonExplosion and I am a Youtuber. If you like my videos, please leave a like and subscribe at my channel.

This was a really cool rpg horror game that revolves around the main character finding himself stuck in a strange room and slowly uncovering the truth behind his existence and situation. I liked the sound effects used in the game and the concept of the game overall.

I have no idea how to get the true/good ending unfortunately as if you watch my playthrough, all I got was bad endings so it would be cool if I could be give some advice on what to do to get the true ending. Some improvements would be more things to do in-game like solving puzzles to find more rooms or objects or like more storytelling through weird events that occur as the game progresses.

Recently the rpg games that I have played have been really good and this game definitely shows why rpg horror is good where the game can bring about curiosity, mystery and horror at the same time.

Thank you for reading my comment and I wish you good luck in your future endeavours.

Thank you so much for playing my game and the critique! I'm very new to this genre, so any suggestions and tips are needed so I can improve.

Spoilers ahead for the true/good end:
For the good/true end you need to use the hammer behind the locked box to break the glass bottles. You'll end up collecting a glass shard that can be used to open the envelope. This event will unlock the diary. One of the papers in the room will also become readable and you can unlock a bonus diary entry.
After, you can then use the hammer to break open the wooden box. When the curtains disappear, it means you have the good end event unlocked.

Hope this helps! Thank you again for playing my game and leaving a comment!

Thank you for telling me how to get to the real ending of the game! The concept of the game reminds me of a horror/thriller movie called "Us" in 2019. I really enjoyed playing through your game and would hope to see more games made by you in the future.
